It's been quite the journey for Griffiths Brothers over the last nine years and now we are getting ready to move into the latest evolutionary stage for our distillery.
With immediate effect, our good friends at a small local independent craft brewery, Creative Juices Brewing Company, are proud to announce that they will be taking over operations at the Griffiths Brothers Distillery.
Griffiths Brothers distillery will continue to run as an independent brand with the same distiller (Henry) producing the same great recipes, using the same quality ingredients and techniques, on the same distilling equipment (Roberta) as always… but it will now be at a new home just up the road from Amersham at Creative Juices’ brewery site in the old dairy building on Woodoaks Farm in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
Creative Juices founder Ben Janaway said, “Griffiths Brothers started up just a couple of years before us and we’ve been a fan of their work from day one. Their spirits are always the most popular in our taproom and I feel that’s because our two businesses share a common goal in terms of hand-crafting the finest small-batch product we can, and that is something which our customers really relate to. We’re chuffed to bits that Henry, the Griffiths Brothers lead distiller, is joining the Creative Juices family, and we’re proud and honoured to continue the brother’s vision and outstanding work with their blessing.”
Griffiths Brother co-founder Alex Griffiths said, "We're thrilled and thankful that Henry will be joining Ben and the rest of the team at Creative Juices to take the Griffiths Brothers gin, rum and vodka products forward and keep the brand going strong. I think this is a perfect match and very much look forward to watching both brands continue to grow exponentially on into the future. It's a great fit."
The plan is very much business as usual for us at Griffiths Brothers. However, if anyone has any questions or concerns over this move, we very much invite you to reach out via our contact page, or indeed to duck your head into the brewery on Woodoaks Farm where we'll be happy to show off our new home going forward in person.
